ハンドメイド・ヘヴンという言葉、天国だけれど創られているという世界観を感じられる、マリーナのセンスが光る言葉だと思います
Birds of a feather
は直訳すると同じ羽毛の鳥、という意味なんですが、転じて同類、同じ穴の狢という意味になります
そして、
Birds of a feather flock together
同じ羽の鳥は共に群れを成す、ということ言葉は、類は友を呼ぶ、という意味になります
Writing's on the wall
は壁に書かれた言葉、という意味ですが不幸の予兆という意味で使われます
旧約聖書に由来する故事で、突如手が現れ、壁に傲慢な王の死と王国の分断の予言を壁に書き記した、というエピソードから来ています
同じ仲間と飛び、木という居場所を持つ鳥たちに羨みの念を持つという歌詞は、天国という理想郷でも孤独である自分を描いているのかなぁと勝手に思っていたり…
MVも雪の中と美しく咲き誇る花々がすごく幻想的で…マリーナのMarinaとして進み始めた新たな一面を垣間見れた一曲でした
